Yes. Activity capture, history and local AI recall run on your Mac without sending your personal context to a remote AI service. Optional Private Compute requires an internet connection.
PUKNO is being built for macOS, with the first releases focused on Apple silicon Macs. Windows and Linux support are planned.
PUKNO stands for “Personalized Universal KNOwledge”: private personal intelligence built from what you’ve seen, learned and created.
Your activity and personal context are processed locally by default. If you explicitly approve Private Compute, context for that request is processed remotely in a protected confidential-computing environment.
Private Compute gives you optional access to larger AI models for more demanding tasks. Remote processing requires your explicit consent and follows settings you control; local AI remains the default.
PUKNO Sync is planned, not available yet. It is designed to connect your memory across devices using end-to-end encryption, so only your authorized devices can read it.
